Looking At Kobe Bryant Nike Shoes

The design of this new Nike shoe by Kobe was inspired by the zodiac dragon symbol in Chinese culture, and was created to represent both the aesthetic and culture behind Chinese art and symbols. 

The dragon is a big part of the shoe, and is meant to project the power of the dragon, as power is something you’re going to want out of a pair of Nikes – especially a pair designed by Kobe Bryant. In addition to the very prominent presence of the dragon on this new release shoe by Nike, you’ll also see the number 4 on the shoe, which is actually based off of a Chinese idiom that states that the “Dragons will rise out of four seas,” a tie in to Chinese culture and sports numbers. These shoes will be released next month in February, and will come in a wide array of colors and styles.
